We purchase this unit to serve as a UPS for our router and our security cameras base unit. It is plugged in to normal power the same as our 3600 plus is. Now with both units in UPS mode we no longer have to go out to the garage, start the generator and then go down the basement to manually transfer over to generator power. My wife and I are in our late seventies and having these Jackerys at a great price and so reliable is the best.

I only just purchased this for future power loss

I only just purchased this for future power loss. We yet to experience one. I charged it to 80% and tested it on several appliances which all powered up and ran e.g. coffee griender, coffee machine, totaster oven. My main concern is extended power loss and the main kitchen refrigerator. We do have a spare in the garage and a chest freezer too. But this unit won't be big enough to power all 3 during a several day power loss. I'm working on a solar solution to charge during several days if the weather permits here in North of Atlanta Georigia.

Perfect Power on the Go

This is prefect for everything we need for camping and around the house in Key West. We do loose power every now and than and great for when you need to run a fan. Great for the RV and especially when I have to work on it in the heat I can use this instead of putting wear and tear on the generator. Light weight with lots of power

Lasts long enough to power my refrigerator during blackouts of up to 2 hours at a time. I charge it in my car and every time I open my refrigerator I plug it into my jackery power station for 30 minutes before and after opening the door. Not good enough to power my freezer tho, I had to disconnect that part temporarily so that it could last.

How long does it take to fully charge it via the regular DC outlet 12 volt in the car? Not with the Dc to Dc alternator unit what you sell on your website.

For Output Priority settings, after power is cut (SOC is < threshold) to a non-priority port, does the port automatically get turned back on if mains power is restored & battery SOC exceeds threshold?

The non-priority port will not automatically turn back on after mains power is restored and the battery SOC rises above the threshold. After the output has shut down, manual power-on is required to restore output.

Can it power a sump pump? And for how long?

Thank you for your question.

The Jackery HomePower 1000 V2 may be able to power a sump pump, but the actual compatibility and runtime depend on the pump’s power requirements, especially its startup surge power (the temporary peak power required when the pump starts).

The HomePower 1000 V2 features:

Battery Capacity: 1024Wh
Continuous Output Power: 1500W
Peak/Surge Power: 3000W

Many smaller sump pumps, such as some 1/3 HP models, may fall within these specifications. However, we recommend checking the pump’s rated power and startup requirements before use.

The actual runtime will depend on how often the sump pump operates:

If the pump only starts occasionally, the battery may last for several hours.
If the pump runs continuously, the battery will be depleted much faster.

Could you please provide the brand, model, or a photo of the specification label on your sump pump? We would be happy to help estimate the expected runtime.
