Preguntas frecuentes

About Explorer 300 v2
  • What devices can the Explorer 300 v2 power?

The Explorer 300 v2 provides up to 300W of AC output with a pure sine wave at 120V, 60Hz. It is well suited for powering small electronics such as laptops, tablets, drones, cameras, portable fans, and lights.

Expert Tip: Avoid using high-wattage heating appliances such as coffee makers or hair dryers, as they typically exceed the 300W output limit. Always check your device’s rated power before connecting it.

  • How fast can I recharge the Explorer 300 v2?

The Explorer 300 v2 is designed for rapid recovery so you can get back to your adventure faster. Here are the typical recharge times to reach 100% capacity:
AC Wall Charging: Approximately 76 minutes using a standard wall outlet.
Car Charging (12V): Approximately 242 minutes (about 4 hours) via your vehicle’s DC car port.
Solar Charging: Approximately 9.5 hours when using a SolarSaga 40W solar panel under ideal full-sun conditions.
Expert Tip: For the fastest "green" recharge, you can use higher-wattage Jackery SolarSaga panels (up to 100W) to significantly reduce that solar charging time.

  • Is the car charging cable included in the box?

The standard package includes the Jackery Explorer 300 V2 unit, an AC Charging Cable, and the User Manual. Please note that the car charging cable is not included but is available for purchase separately if you plan to charge while on the road.

  • Can I use the Explorer 300 v2 in the rain or at the beach?

While built for the outdoors, this device is not waterproof or dustproof. It is intended for indoor use or "indoor-like" environments such as tents, RVs, or cabins. Always keep the unit in a cool, dry place and ensure the vents are uncovered to prevent overheating.

Customers praised this portable power station for home office use, noting it provides "plenty of reliable and steady power" for laptops. Shoppers appreciated the lightweight design and solar panel feature as a "great bonus" for areas with limited outlets.

I'm very happy with the 300W Explorer V2 power station

I'm very happy with the convenience of having power to run my starlink mini were ever I go in the mountains to enable cell and internet service when I need it. It's light weight and rather compact. Charging is quick. I can plug it into my receptacle port in my truck when on the move to charge. Charging via Jackery solar panels is also easy with ample sunlight. It gives me an extra layer of security in remote places here in Idaho. I would highly suggest researching or chatting with a Jackery agent on any additional cable accessories you might need for all your devices and solar panel before using it in the field. Also research tips on how to reduce power consumption when using your devices with the power station to ensure you are not wasting the charge.

My third Jackery

It can power my Spectrum connection for hours and that was my first reason for buying it. I keep it close so that if the power fails, I can reach for it, turn on the LED and to start preparing for a power failure.

I like the (FAST!) 200+W wall charging speed with the plug-in orange cord and this was my main reason to hold out for 300 v2 with LifeP04 batteries. The dual AC outlets and the energy saving mode that shuts the v2 down if it hasn't been powering anything plugged in for six hours are great features.

The lighter weight makes this useful for charging devices indoors. I used to charge iPads, headphones and power banks with a charger that had a tangled of six wires. The v2 simplifies my charging setup, adds convenience and helps me keep the v2 always charged and ready. I am surprised at how often I grab it to top off something.

I already own two 1000v2 units that give me the ability to swap one out until I absolutely have to drag out my a gas generator to charge the other one during a longer power failure. For a short power interruption - the kind that usually happen - these are the perfect solution. This new 300 v2 is less powerful but still has a lot of uses because it is light and easier to get ready.

This v2 is also good at measuring what wattage something uses. Obviously the item to check can't exceed the specifications of the v2.

I held off on buying a smaller Jackery due to the power limitations but use it a lot more than I planned.

Don't be tricked into buying a refurbished product

Don't be tricked into buying a refurbished product. They do not make it obvious that you are buying refurbished and have a short warranty. Then fail shortly after the warranty is up. I'm going to try Bluetti because they are more highly rated by most technology websites.

Terrible customer service

I ordered a Jackery 300 Explorer 300 v2. I wanted it to go to my daughter in Colorado but because I also have a Shopify site, it defaulted the shipping to my house in Pennsylvania. I immediately, called Jackery customer service and spoke to Kevin. Kevin assured me that he would change the shipping address to Colorado. He did not!! The next day, I received an email saying that the Jackery 300 was being sent to my house. I immediately sent email to Kevin and he replied that he was recalling the package and reissuing it to my daughter in Colorado and said that he would get a tracking number for the replacement package. I waited a few days but Kevin did not sent me the tracking number. Since my daughter needed the Jackery for a camping trip in a few days, I was left with no choice but to over night (at a cost of $180) the Jackery that was shipped to my house so that it would be in Colorado on time. But I didnt know that UPS wont ship a Jackery on a plane (i didnt know this). So, to this day (June 13) my jackery is stuck in Kentucky and I'm filling out forms to try to get is ground shipped back to Pennsylvania. This is becoming a nightmare. I emailed Kevin, and he admitted that he did not get the shipping address changed and he also admitted that he never sent the tracking number (even after several request by me to get the tracking number) but offered no additional information or any tracking number. I assume it was never shipped. In the end, I had to order a Westinghouse battery back up on Amazon because that was the only one that would ship to Colorado overnight. I did arrive and she is successfully using the Westinghouse. I personally use Jackery products and love them. But the Jackery customer service has cost me several hundreds of dollars (shipping and replacement Westinghouse) over the initial cost of the Jackery 300.

Won't Take a Charge Anymore

Worked great for a few camping trips. Not even 3 years old and the unit will not take a charge. None of the troubleshooting steps provided resolution. This is a garbage product that doesn't last. Do not purchase.

Exactly what I needed to use in my home office where I do not have enough outlets. Plenty of reliable and steady power for my laptop. Lightweight and the solar panel is a great bonus.

Degrades when no device using power

The problem is the unit consumes about 4% / hour of power without any load used by the device you have plugged in. There is no way to program the days/hours you want the unit to be in use. I have a 2 watt device that is in use about 2 hours a day. Yet the device power capacity is reduced to 0 with in 24 hours even with charging with the solar panel during the day.

Been using it for two days in a row I love it. I have the old original Jack Rex floor 300 that came out seven years ago and I loved it so much but it’s finally taking a toll no longer holds the charge. I don’t even wanna throw it away, so I’ll probably keep it as a ornament but the new Jackery 300 version two awesome I was hoping they would make one again and they have very happy might get one for my son

Do you need to buy solar panels so the solar charging work or does it come included

Jackery

The solar panels are sold separately and are not included with the Explorer 300. While the Explorer 300 comes with AC charging cable and car charging cable in the box, you will need to purchase compatible Jackery SolarSaga panels separately to enable solar charging capability.
