Jackery Unveils the Powerful and Versatile Solar Generator 2000 Plus

For more than a decade, Jackery has been designing and building mobile charging solutions to keep our gadgets and appliances running while exploring off the grid. Over that time, the company’s line of portable power stations have set the standard in terms of innovation, reliability, and ease of use. But with the arrival of the new Solar Generator 2000 Plus, Jackery has introduced its most exciting and versatile product yet, taking the industry to the next level.

The Jackery Solar Generator 2000 Plus brings impressive performance and features to the company’s line-up of power stations. Out of the box, the device can output up to 3,000 watts of power and has a battery capacity of 2 kilowatt-hours. That’s enough energy to recharge a smartphone or laptop dozens of times, or power most small appliances, including portable refrigerators, electric grills, TVs, and CPAP machines.

But along with the launch of this new power station, Jackery has also introduced an add-on battery pack. This device expands the capacity of the Solar Generator 2000 Plus, giving it an additional 2kWh for each battery—up to five—that is connected. Adding a battery pack also amps up the power output, raising it from 3000W to a best-in-class 6000W. This makes Jackery’s newest offering a viable option for use as a home backup power system, providing electricity at a remote cabin, or as an off-grid energy system for RVing.

The Solar Generator 2000 Plus has a few more tricks up its sleeve, including fast-charging capabilities. Despite its amazing capacity, the new power station can fully charge in less than two hours using an AC wall outlet or up to six Jackery SolarSaga 200W solar panels. Those panels now feature integrated Interdigitated Back Contact (IBC) technology that improves efficiency to a best-in-class 25%. That makes them much more useful in the field, where solar can be notoriously finicky.

With its latest product, Jackery has also transitioned to lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, which are safer and more cost-effective than lithium-ion cells and have a much longer lifespan. The company says that the Solar Generator 2000 Plus has an expected last up to ten years with daily use. That is also far and away the best in the industry so far and bodes well for the long-term use of the power station.

Even with all of these upgrades, Jackery hasn’t forgotten that power stations must be portable. The new model has a built-in handle and very sturdy wheels, making moving it around much easier. As you would expect, the device has a rugged build quality and is designed to go wherever you need power.
