Extended Warranty Coverage

The 2-Year Extended Warranty applies exclusively to 5000plus, 5000plus Battery Pack and STS purchased through Jackery's official authorized channels in the United States.

STS Extended Warranty Requirements: To enable customers to take advantage of the 2-Year Extended Warranty, the STS must be installed by a Jackery-recommended certified electrician or a customer-selected certified electrician.

Battery Degradation Exclusion: Normal capacity decay due to aging or regular usage is excluded from warranty coverage.

Warranty Duration:
The 2-Year Extended Warranty takes effect immediately after the original product warranty expires. To confirm the start date of 2-year extended warranty, customers must submit the documentation listed below:
1. Proof of Original Purchase for 5000plus, 5000plus Battery Pack or STS (e.g., sales receipt, order confirmation).
2. Proof of the 2-Year Extended Warranty Purchase from the Jackery Official Website (e.g., sales receipt, order confirmation).

Activation of 2-Year Extended Warranty

After purchasing the 2-Year Extended Warranty on Jackery Official Website, an activation email will be sent to your registered email address. Please check your inbox for updates.
Customers must activate the 2-Year Extended Warranty on Jackery Official Website within 30 days of purchase. This ensures the Jackery Customer Team can efficiently follow up on the warranty and the extended warranty of your product, enabling timely service support.


Activation Process:

The 2-Year Extended Warranty Service Terms

If a quality defect in the product itself causes it to malfunction as intended during the extended 2-year warranty period:
1. Customers may request after-sale service by emailing Jackery Customer Team at hello@jackery.com. Jackery will process the claim.
2. For STS quality defects, Jackery will arrange free onsite replacement by certified electricians.
3. If after-sale service involves the replacement of products or parts, replaced parts become Jackery's property and the replaced products or parts become the customer's property.
4. Replacement products or parts provided by Jackery may be refurnished but will be functionally equivalent to the original.
5. Repairs or replacements under this Extended Warranty do not extend the warranty period. The repaired or replaced product will be covered for the remaining duration of the original warranty.
6. Please do not return products without prior confirmation from Jackery Customer Team. Unauthorized returns will result in the customer bearing all associated costs.

Required Documentation for Claims:
1) Proof of Original Purchase for 5000plus, 5000plus Battery Pack or STS (e.g., valid proof of purchase, sales receipt, order ID or other reasonable documentation).
2) Proof of 2-Year Extended Warranty Purchase from the Jackery Official Website (e.g., valid proof of purchase, sales receipt, order ID or other reasonable documentation).
3) Defect description with supporting photos or videos.
4) Product Serial Number (SN) and receipt date.
5) Additional information as required by Jackery Customer Team for after-sale service.


For verified defects during the 2-year Extended Warranty, Jackery covers round-trip shipping costs. For inaccuracies claims, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Refund Policy

Full refunds are available within 30 days following the purchase of the 2-Year Extended Warranty.

To request your refund, submit all of the following: valid proof of purchase, sales receipt, order ID or other reasonable documentation of the 2-Year Extended Warranty purchase for 5000plus, 5000plus Battery Pack, Smart Transfer Switch on Jackery Official Website.

Disclaimer Clause

The following scenarios are not covered under the 2-Year Extended Warranty:
1. Misuse, Abuse, or Unauthorized Modifications: damage resulting from misuse, abuse, modification, accidental damage, or any use beyond the described consumer purposes authorized in Jackery's current product documentation.
2. Unauthorized Repairs: repairs performed by any party other than Jackery-authorized service providers.
3. Unauthorized Purchase Channels: products purchased through unauthorized dealers or other non-official channels.
4. Non-Certified STS Installation: installation, operation, or repair of the STS by individuals not certified by Jackery or a customer-selected certified electrician.
5. Non-Compliance with Local Codes: failure to install the STS in accordance with all applicable local electrical, fire, or building codes and regulations.
6. Unauthorized Relocation: removing and reinstalling the STS at a location other than its original address without Jackery’s explicit written consent.
7. Installation in Movable Constructions: installation of the STS in movable structures or residences (e.g., RVs, mobile homes).
8. Environmental or Operational Damage: damage caused by improper use, negligence, accidents, incorrect installation, overcharging, physical harm, unapproved internal/external repairs, insufficient ventilation, or use in unsuitable environments for Jackery products (e.g., excessive wear, debris accumulation).
9, External Exposure: defects or damage caused by exposure to excessive heat, liquids, or other external factors.
10. Third-Party Component Integration: damage resulting from using Jackery products as components of product guaranteed by other manufacturers.
11. Force Majeure: damage caused by force majeure, power surges, lightning strikes, floods, fires, vandalism, tampering, accidental damage or other uncontrollable circumstances.
12. Non-Compliance with Documentation: damage due to failure to install, use, or store the product as instructed in the user manual, product labels, or other documentation, or failure to perform required maintenance.
13. Invalid Proof of Purchase: claims lacking valid proof of purchase (e.g., sales receipt, invoice) or involving tampered or forged records.
14. Tampering with Product Identification: modification, removal, reverse engineering, or alteration of original markings or SN on Jackery product.
15. Incomplete Claim Information: failure to provide required warranty claim information (e.g., product model, SN, defect photos/videos).
16. Unauthorized Return Shipping: product loss or damage due to not using Jackery-authorized logistics for returns.
17. Improper Packaging for Returns: damage caused by failure to use original packaging or equivalent strength/dimension protective materials during return shipping.
18. Normal Wear and Tear: cosmetic defects (e.g., surface scratches, dents or marks) or natural wear that does not impair product functionality.
19. Battery Degradation From Disuse: reduced battery lifespan resulting from long-term disuse of energy storage device or power kits (refer to the user manual for maintenance guidelines).
20. Unauthorized Circuit Modifications: damage caused by unapproved circuit modifications or improper use of batteries/chargers.
21. Unauthorized Battery Use: excessive battery capacity loss from using unauthorized battery packs for third-party purposes.
22. Non-Certified Third-Party Components: damage caused by reliability or compatibility issues when using Jackery products with uncertified third-party components as input or load.
23. Post-Warranty Repairs: repair requests submitted after the Extended Warranty period expires.
24. Free Products: products received as free ones.
25. Improper Handling or Third-Party Devices: damage caused by improper installation, storage, operation or maintenance or failure to operate in accordance with the product documentation or any local laws, regulations, codes and requirements; damage caused by third-party equipment, components, software or monitoring systems, as well as from any of the aforementioned..
26. No Defects Confirmed by Testing: claims rejected after Jackery or its approved service providers confirm no quality defects through testing.
27. Force Majeure Clause: "Force Majeure" refers to unforeseeable, unavoidable events beyond either party’s control and that prevent partial or full fulfillment of obligations under this Limited Warranty.
1) Such events include, but are not limited to earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fires, wars, strikes, riots, pandemics, government actions, legal/regulatory changes or any other event that is beyond the control of the parties, as well as situations generally recognized as force majeure in commercial practice.
2) In the case of a force majeure event, the obligations of the affected party under this Limited Warranty shall be suspended for the duration of the incident. The warranty period shall be automatically extended by the duration of the suspension. The impacted party cannot be held accountable for delays by the non-affected party. The affected party must notify the other party in writing within 15 days of the force majeure event’s occurrence, providing detailed evidence of the incident and its duration.
The affected party shall take reasonable measures to mitigate losses brought on the force majeure event. Failure to do so may result in liability for additional losses. Both parties shall promptly negotiate fair solutions to minimize the impact of the force majeure event.
28. Other Unspecified Circumstances: any other scenarios not explicitly covered by this term, where Jackery has sufficient grounds to deny coverage.

Jackery reserves the final right to interpret these Extended Warranty Terms.
