Jackery Battery Pack 2000 Plus

Unfortunately it appears that Jackery did not do much testing on their solution! We have two 2000+ generators, we bought the generator connector cable to connect the two generators and we bought the 6 breaker electrical panel and connected it to our main panel. So far so good. Then the Jackery off grid solution fell face first into the dirt!?!?!

Why? Because you need and we bought 8 saga solar panels to recharge the generators and 10 batteries. But to get the solar panels into an optimal place to maximize the sunlight, we needed a very long solar panel connecting cable. The included 10ft cable is not close to being long enough.
But no worries, Jackery provides a 16ft solar panel extension cable and better news, Jackery online support documents state that you can connect two extension cables on each solar panel run!
So we pony up and buy 16 solar panel extensions and 4 solar panel generator connectors.
But much to our disappointment, this solution does not work - the connection with two extension cables fails to provide input power to the generators.
We have had an open support request with Jackery for several weeks and they have yet to provide a fix to this problem, the bigger concern is that although we provided many pictures and a video of the solar panel connector run to the generator, support has failed to even address the issue!

Thus, our Jackery off grid solution will only last until the batteries run out. We have been a long time Jackery advocate and buyer, unfortunately because Jackery’s solar recharging configuration does not work in any realistic home setup situation their off grid / grid down solution at this point is simply not true.

Great product

Although it took longer than anticipated to get an issue addressed through customer service, they were definitely responsive and did get a billing issue resolved to my satisfaction, which was much appreciated.
