Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 2000 Plus

well I have not used it for a power outage, yet, It arrived in double box packaging, charged around 25%, I charged to 100% with house current, seemed to only take a couple of hours. AC output waveform and voltage were verified as nominal with an oscilloscope and DVM. Verified (2) UBB-C (2) USB-A were nominal 5Vdc. verified the 12Vdc female socket was a nominal 13Vdc. The electrical specifications look good and so does the build quality.

We live in the Clearwater/Tampa area of Florida so we have been looking to invest in a Jackery unit for years and with all of the awful hurricanes we have been experiencing we decided to pull the trigger. Several friends have told us they love their units and know they can rely on it so that helped give us the peace of mind to make this investment. We have been fortunate enough to not have to use it so I will have to come back to make an update once we put this bad boy to use. So far here is my feedback- we got the 2000 and I was amazed with the small size (still very heavy) and how quiet the unit was when I tested it. Even the charging is nearly silent. They made moving the unit simple with the handle and sturdy wheels so it feels like you are toting a suitcase. Even the charging cord is well made! All around great product! The only thing I would have done differently is bought the 3000w bundle with 2 panels solely because GO BIG OR GO HOME right? Several friends are already going to be buying units for their houses after seeing mine. 🙂

I bought this as backup to my gas generators if there ever is an issue finding gas during a power outage. I bought two to connect together with two extra batteries. Testing worked fine connected to my house's transfer switch. I was running two full size fridges, a full sized freezer, two TVs, and two lights. After 2 1/2 hours I was down to 75% without the solar panels connected. You lost 1 start for panels not being completely waterproof and not being able connect other rigid fully weatherproof panels.

While to is isn’t the ideal situation, I had my jackery 2000 set a fault F0. Emailed help via jackery. Not even 12 hours later I had my tracking info for my return.
Besides the fluke of my fault the explorer 2000 pro is an absolute BEAST. Running my domestic 95l fridge outside in the bed of my truck with easy. Probably gets 72 hrs on the battery pack alone. And for being in over 95 degree temps I gotta say compared to my other name brand power stations, they just can’t keep up with the jackery performance & CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’m still in shock how fast and easy it all was 10/10 recommend jackery

I have a 50amp travel trailer RV. I use a 50amp to 30amp reducer to plug in the 2000 Plus. It will power my main A/C unit(15000btu), microwave, electric hot water heater and electric fire place(one at a time) and only for a short time.

I recently went off grid with my family in the trailer. The 2000plus with 1-2000plus added battery pack run my trailer for 5 days. I had no reason to run the A/C because the weather was cool. I did run the gas furnace all 5 nights, 2-30 inch TVs, the trailers 12 CUFT fridge, starlink internet, toaster, blender, water pump, sons X-Box and charged 2 phones, 1 tablet & 1 laptop every other day. After 3 days it was low, but I still had my trusty 2000pro which charged the 2000plus and 2000plus battery pack back to 40%.
After 5 days all my Jackerys were died, but the trailer house batteries were still at 100% due to the Jackerys.
On average the trailer pulled 269 watts running the lights, TVs, internet, fridge, furnice and keeping the trailer batteries charge. At night about a quarter of that.
If I would have put out the 4 solarSaga 200watt panels I believe I could have stayed out for weeks, or intell I run out of propane and water.

I do a lot of traveling across the US for work. Stopping at truck stops, rest areas and the side of the exit ramps. It's nice having all the comforts of shore power when I stop for the night and rest.
Love my Jackeries and plan on adding more of the battery packs and panels to it.

Bought and sold my 3000 (Couldn't add on to it for my RV).

My only complaint is the 200watt solar panels. The magnet that keeps them together is so strong it strips the screws out when you pull them open. Easy fix, replace the short screws with longer ones that pass all the way through the back side of it. Then cut and file flat.

I recommend buying Jackery. Solid units, well built and easy to use.

Very happy with two thousand plus generator. I can sleep better at night, i would recommend this jackery product to anyone. I hardly ever hear fans running.

Used this for a high school graduation Audio System. The principals reaction.. Cool! This is my second one. Used for powering small concerts with no power. I have two because I had one fail and can’t have that happen on the job so you need two. Jackery took care of the warranty no problem. Very happy costumer:)

Great purchase. Great price.Had a power outage the other day plugged portable AC into it and ran for 3 1/2 hours while power was out and still had 85% power left after the power came back on. So happy I purchased. I also just purchased the solar power so I will be trying that out soon.

Haven’t used it yet. Going to use it next week.
Been using my explore 550 for the last couple of years at my off grid property to run my cpap machine and I love it.

Love the Jackery products; for home, camping and hiking to a place for relaxing

We love the 2000 plus. In our area of Southern California, they turn off the power every time a big wind event is said to happen. Such a pain! We are able to keep our two refrigerators and one freezer cold during these times, with a 2000 plus for each. It would have been too heavy for us to move it around without the built in handle. This handle feature was a must have for us, which many other brands do not have. We've been very happy with Jackery and we highly recommend.

Jackery requested an early user review. I've only used the solar battery with a window AC unit and a single 200W solar panel. Everything has worked as expected. Generally, the display, inputs, and plugs are are organized intuitively, and the unit is reasonably quiet charging and serving load. The app works fine but isn't sophisticated, e.g., no scheduling like you might have with many contemporary smart devices. I wish the handle and wheels were sturdier. It's heavy, and I wouldn't want to lift it into a car on a regular basis. As long as the unit remains reliable, I would imagine 4-out-of-5 would remain the star rating.

Performs well with a catch. I have yet to put a heavy load on it more than a vacuum cleaner but have ran into a drawback that is incredibly annoying. If running EPS mode if and you draw more than about 1500 watts the AC Output will shut off and show an F6 Code until reset. As long as the unit is plugged in it runs EPS mode. This means I can never run any high draw item while also charging the unit which severely limits the utility of the 2000 Plus. I feel like a software update could correct or fix this issue. Provide a option within the app to disable the EPS function. Program the unit to shutoff charging when a high current draw occurs then resume charging when the heavy draw has stopped for 30 seconds. There has to be a better option than the current EPS/F6 condition. What if I run the 30 amp output to my RV and keep the jackery charging. Is it going to kick off every time the AC kicks on? So I'm forced to just let the battery drain then not use the Jackery while recharging.

Would not fix charging issue. Keep asking for more evidence. Don’t buy this brand. Expensive and unreliable

It’s easy to use, recharges fast, and has been very reliable so far. I’m really happy with the performance and would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been using the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus for both home backup and outdoor trips, and it’s been one of the most reliable power stations I’ve owned. The battery capacity is impressive, and I really like that it’s expandable for future needs. It easily powers my appliances, laptops, coffee maker, and even heavier devices without issues.

The charging speed is also surprisingly fast, especially with solar panels, and the app control makes monitoring everything very convenient. During a recent outage, it gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing I could keep essential devices running.

I really like the product.

It was easy to charge with the solar panels. Easy to use (doing test runs).

Perfect for overland trailer build. Purchased to run trailer lights and diesel heater/ecoflow wave 2 AC (depending on season). Will run diesel heater for 100+ hours, and ac unit for 12 hours on a single charge. Currently using 300w solar panels (3x100) to charge during the day and have had no issues thus far. Very happy with purchase.

So far so good regarding its intention, but the handle is a bit flimsy and I feel like the top should be a flat surface and not with the pieces coming together
