    Lightweight Power

Needed something lighter in weight relative to the 1000. So we purchased the 500. Haven’t unboxed it yet but we know and love the Jackery for its simplicity and reliability.

Third Jackery in our Solar Generator Collec

This is the third purchase of the Jackery Explorer line. The first two are Jackery Explorer 300's. The first purchased in January 2019. It's battery storage is within 11 percent of our second Jackery Explorer 300 we bought September 2024. We bought our last Jackery Explorer 500 in October 2024. All of our products have served us as advertised. Jackery's shipping in prompt. We have had no issues with our first Explorer 300 which is why we purchased another in September and finally the Explorer 500 in October. I personally prefer 3 smaller power solutions than a larger unit. I can have on the solar panel charging. While using the other. Our primary use of our Jackery Explorer power supply is for our off grid camping needs. Primary to run our 12 volt refrigerator. The Explorer 300 does an excellent job doing that. It can run the refrigerator over a 13 hour period. It still has 30 percent battery life. We will normally run the refrigerator approximately 8 hours at night and have about 60 percent battery life remaining. With sunny conditions will recharge the Jackery with our Solar Soga 100 solar panel and run the refrigerator the next day. If the sun is not shining we simply recharge the battery with the 12 volt outlet driving our Jeep. This has worked awesome. Now with the two additional Jackery Explorer 300 and the 500 this gives us much more reserve power.

    Reliable and strong

As a professional photographer, I take my Jackery with me on location. That often means in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I photograph regional, national and international sailboat races, so I'm often in the middle of the water for up to 13, 14 hours, or longer. Jackery never lets me down. And my race committee members can also connect to charge phones or laptops, so we can get photos and scores sent back to mainland HQ sites to be ready for awards at the end. It's great for wedding locations to keep my strobe and camera batteries charged. They're long lasting and durable. I wouldn't go out on location without them. Yes, I have TWO. Everyone around me always thanks me. (You're welcome.)

    What a treasure!

I used my new Jackery generator over the weekend at a football game. It was so easy to charge and use! Several tailgaters commented on its power and how quiet it was
