Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Plus

When I first got this, I was really excited. It was easy to use, and in April during a power outage it worked great — it kept my internet and TV running with no issues.

However, when a snowstorm was coming in, the unit would not charge at all. It kept giving an F0 error code. I tried following the very limited instructions provided, including resetting it, but nothing worked.

I then contacted customer service. The support was overseas, and all they did was repeatedly ask for information. I sent the requested information multiple times and never received a response. I called and emailed over and over, and it was the same frustrating cycle every time — no real help at all.

Because of this, I wasn’t able to use the unit during the storm when I needed it most. Honestly, this was extremely disappointing. I bought a Westinghouse unit at the same time for home backup, and it worked perfectly. The Jackey was supposed to be my portable backup since I lose power often, but it failed when it mattered. Love the solar panels they work great the battery (extra one is fully charged but wont work with the Brains). I wish now I just went ahead and got the Generic home unit, but I bought the separate devices to use it in the RV. Just read the Yelp reviews before buying, seem like they went downhill since August of 2025. Finding cheap labor is going to cause them to fail. because I will tell everyone and post every time, I see a ad. to save Hard working families from this headache and wasting $1800

In love with this product, and really grateful to own one. There were several scratches on the panels when I unboxed, which is probably not great, but hopefully there will be no problems. Thanks again.

I just bought a DJI FPV drone on Amazon prime day, and I needed a power supply that can let me fly all day. The JACKERY solar 1000 plus with two 100w solar panels, let me do so. I very satisfied with my purchase and will buy more In The future.

Excellent quality rapid delivery. Functional but slow solar charging. Less than 2 hours to charge with household outlet. I bought 2 extra 1000 batteries for extended use. Purpose is to run cpap unit in outage. Got approximately 3 days with all features including heated tube and humidifier tank on main unit Explorer 1000 plus battery.

Easy to use. Quiet running. Variety of options to charge and expand. Gives me peace of mind!

The ability to turn off Battery Saver Mode made ALL the difference for me. Im able to use a load that is not on all the time!

Not giving five stars, as I have not had to use this in an emergency situation. But, it charges well & holds the charge, not too heavy, & solar panels are slightly less bulky than I thought they’d be. Will be testing my nebulizer soon & will update review.

I have only used it for testing my setup but it certainly has met my initial samples.

Great product

Everything arrived in good shape. I tried out the solar charging set up and this time of year when the sun is low in the horizon it was a challenge to charge the unit. On the plus side I used the unit to power the frig to see how long it would last just powering the frig. I found that it will power my frog for 21 hours. Better than I thought. I have purchased the extra battery unit to extend the time. The great customer service via email has been weak in delayed responses and in the last case no response at all.

When I got this I thought I'd put it to the test and plug in my refrigerator at 350w. At this wattage, Jackery's estimation was just under three hours. Plugged in my refrigerator at 7:30 a.m., pulled the plug at 7:30 p.m. with 59% battery life left........and I can add 2 more battery packs to this system. Incredibly happy with my purchase

My son has been pushing me to buy one to run the heating stove, fridge and a few lights when there is an electrical failure here in the mountains. Bought the 1000 plus during the Black Friday sale but have only been able to play with it so far. It seems like it will fill the bill, if I don't have electrical issues, I'll use it for camping. The solar panels require more practice to get the aim just right. I had hoped to just set them in the window, but that didn't work. It did run the fridge, heating stove (2 fans), tv, 2 lights, satellite dish and computer for several hours and had plenty of charge left that I feel it will take care of my needs during an outage.

So far so good. I do have a question, but I haven't had time to look it up and see if there is an answer. Otherwise I'm happy. I got the two Solar Panels, but I don't intend to install them until next Spring. Too cold right now. I'm using the 10000 P;us in my 2021 Nissan NV 200 SV to run a SetPower ST35 Fridge and charge Batteries and things for my Cameras.

It took awhile but I recieved everything but the cable to connect the solar panel. Still waiting on that. Have used it a couple times. Purchased it as a back up while living in my RV. Without the solar cable it will be hard to charge when electric is out.

We just received the Jackery 3000 pro I turned it on and went through the manual to make sure all the connections and plugs were providing power.
The manual answered all the questions and help me hook it up to Bluetooth.
It’s great to have peace of mind that when my power goes out because it always does, I won’t be stranded with no power.

I charged up the jackery in a little more than an hour to 100%. I plugged in my new 12 volt frig to see how much energy it would take. After 12 hours the Jackery was still at 95%. I am very pleased and believe this will make travel and camping so much easier and more enjoyable.
