To maximize the power output of the SolarSaga 500 X, please do not connect more than six 85W solar panels in parallel to a single DC8020 input port.
Mixing different models of solar panels is not recommended. When connecting more than two solar panels simultaneously, the Jackery Solar Panel Connector is required.
It can. In Bypass Mode, HomePower 3000 allows simultaneous AC input charging and AC output to devices. However, during charging, the available output power may be slightly lower than its rated output
The HomePower 3000 uses durable materials and has passed necessary certifications for safety, but it is not fully fireproof. Exposure to temperatures over 130°C (265°F) could cause risks such as fire or explosion
No, the HomePower 3000 is a standalone system without the option to connect additional expansion batteries.
If you need expandable capacity, you can select our 2000 Plus or 5000 Plus series, which support battery expansion
Yes, HomePower 3000 supports UPS mode. When connected to AC input, it powers devices through grid electricity. In case of a sudden outage, it automatically switches to battery mode within 20ms. However, it does not support 0ms switching, and it’s not recommended for sensitive devices like data servers
The HomePower 3000 cannot directly charge an RV. To use it, you need to connect a grounding adapter. TT-30 RV port for 3600W Massive Output. (120V,30A)
Yes, the HomePower 3000 supplies power to home circuits by connecting to Manual Transfer Switch. Keep up to 6 essential circuits running during a blackout.
Using the HomePower 3000 in low temperatures may affect charging and discharging performance. This is normal and does not affect usage. Simply move the device to a warmer environment to restore normal operation.

Powerful portable solar generator praised for reliability and fast charging. Customers said it "powers anything and everything" including fridges, freezers, and RVs. Versatile charging via AC, solar, and DC. Some noted heavy weight and wished for built-in wheels. One customer experienced technical service issues. Generally excellent for camping and emergency backup power.
This is the sweetest purchase i have ever made. We own a gelato business and wanted to take a freezer to markets. This was the best solution. We set the solar panels on top of the van and it charges right up
So, I bought my Jackery 3000 a while back. The sole reason for buying this Jackery power bank was so that I could use it for both my Cercker Commercial Food-Dehydrator Machine 14 Trays, 1200W Fruit Dehydrator,11.98ft² Meat Dryer for Jerky,190ºF Temperature Control, and 24H Large Food Dryer for Beef. I wanted something that would not pull a lot of electricity from my household. So I looked and found that Jack re 3000 home power bank. However, after connecting just one dehydrator to the power bank, I realized that the battery would drain within 2 hours. This was a huge disappointment as I felt that the research I conducted, I thought I would at least have ample battery reserves to not drain as quickly. Maybe it's just because I am using a commercial-style dehydrator or maybe the battery itself is just not up to the task. So far the battery has kind of been collecting dust because I have not realistically used it for a lot of necessary needs. Hopefully, this summer may be the change for that. But unfortunately, the sole reason why I bought it was due to my dehydrator and now I cannot use it for that.
This power station is very efficient and smart, with built-in safety measures for prevent overloading. Very versatile with ability to charge laptop cell phone and watch TV using the power station. I have been using it to run some of my appliances during the day to reduce some reliance on the grid and so far been able to save on my usage from the grid. The 200watts solar panels that came with the jackery home 3000 has been excellent and produced 395 to 400watt of solar charging, very effective,so I dont always have to charge from the grid. I know if I have a power outage I will be able to rely on the jackery home 3000. It very silent when in use or in charging mode I love that. I will be looking forward to upgrading to the jackery 3600 or Explorer 5000. Because I want to rely less on the grid and save $$$.
Delivered fast and works as advertised. I use it on my boat where it easily runs a little heater for taking the chill off down here in Florida. Great company to work with. Thanks.
Awesome for my needs! I live in a rural area and use Jackery products for camping, work and power outages. The HomePower 3000 is an amazing addition to my Explorer 1500. The HomePower 3000 can also power my RV Trailer. Versatile and provides longer camp trips with the two solar panels as well.
I'm feeling a little mixed with how I feel about my recent purchase of the HomePower 3000. Even in the picture you attached to this email you are showing that it comes with the 2 solar panels which is what I clicked on for the value and somewhere in the final confirmation it was changed to the unit only without the panels. I've gone back and looked several times and it still shows the whole package until you click and there's when it becomes misleading. As far as the unit itself we love having the convenience of not needing a gas generator to run our tools while building and the efficiency of how little power it uses. We've loved our small unit for several years now and always take it camping as we only do tent camping. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone like us who is looking to go more or totally off grid. I would however suggest being cautious and observant when making your purchase. -Bears In The Woods Camping
After receiving my shipment I was quick to set up the panels. One of the cables was only working intermittently and upon trying to remove it from the jackery unit, the end of it remained in the battery. I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful and immediately sent a replacement cable. When I noticed the initial replacement did not have the usb charging ports, I responded to the customer service survey and they sent a second cable with the ports. I'm very happy with the customer service I received and recommend Jackery.
Initial charge was at the house but charged from 20% to 100% in ~2 hours on AC power. First camping trip with the Jackery was the first weekend in October. Camp site was around 9000’ and temperature was middle 40s. Used the 30 amp plug in and ran the heat continuously all night. Battery charge value in the AM after ~10 hours of use was 75%. This will be a complete game changer for off grid camping.
Dependable and light, enough power to continue dry camping in comfort even under clouds (with 2x SolarSaga 200 panels). Can run the AC, for an hour or two, keep the trailer batteries charged, make coffee and run the microwave. Luxury in the middle of nowhere.
My only concern is the weather, as there is not currently a rain resistant cover available.
Drove from California to Wyoming to my yearly camp spot and the 30 Amp hook up didnt work. Only the 120 Amp worked. It got a little warm in the trailer and had to turn on the AC in my trailer so i brought out the Jackery 3000 to cool the trailer down. Easy set up to plug in the trailer to the Jackery then plugged in the SolarSaga panels. Happy camper with having Jackery with us.
I love my Jackery and recently used it on a fishing trip in the mountains where I could not re-charge my electric trolling motor on the boat easily. I took my jackery down the boat dock and re-charged the battery after each day of fishing. The jackery was quiet, charged the boat up quickly, and I was able to spend more time on the water!
I'm a full time Van Traveler who has used both Bluetti and Jackery. Hands down Jackery Wins! This HomePower 3000 now powers my 63 quart Iceco Frig with DC power. What I like most is, while the weather is not to hot, the frig pulls 4-7% from the battery per 24-HOUR period!! When the battery reaches 70% i put out the panels and the battery is recharged in 2 hours or less. If I find a power outlet, like at the laundry, I take it in and plug it in; the battery is incredibly fast charging so it's topped off way before I finish laundry. I own a 1000 and an older 500 Jackery...the unreliable Bluetti is retired. Its soooo wonderful not to frantic about power with days and days of rain.
Powerful and easy to use-stand alone or connected to home circuits. All features as represented. Great back up for home, rv and other needs.
Awesome!
“Haven't really used it yet. Bought it for emergency power for fridge. I know it's a question of when, not if. Bought the solar panel bundle. We shall see.”
Good product. Good quality, dependable. Good peace of mind.
Jackery Solar Generator HomePower 3000
Amazingly quick shipping. Looking forward to not having to run the gas generator to have coffee while off-grid!
So far so good I’m pretty. Please give me some more time with it and you might get the five stars meanwhile is there anyway I can get somebody to contact me regarding my first payment this month thank you.
I added this to my stable of Jackery Power Products! Small enough to be portable and packed with power! I am pleased with the consistency of Jackery Products as they are similar in operation and appearance.
Good product but their “Price Match Guarantee” is the price after all discounts, not the list price before discounts.
good stuff
Kinda sucks that you can’t talk to a supposed Power Specialist. Very disappointing would certainly not recommend to a novice. Still on the fence with the original order.
Can this unit power a 220 device or do you need to link 2 together?
Dear customer,
Thank you for reaching out.
No, the HomePower 3000 is not designed to power 220V devices. Its AC output is rated at 120V~60Hz with 3600W, specifically for use with 120V appliances.
Additionally, the HP3000 does not support linking two units together to achieve higher voltage output.
If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know.
Best regards,
