Solar Generator HomePower 3600 Plus

We recently bought the Jackery 3600 Plus + Battery Pack + SolarSaga 500 X.

Everything was delivered quickly by a third party delivery driver who lifted everything out of the back of her small SUV which was very impressive. And, she was kind enough to help me bring it into our house.

Fortunately, the wheels and handle provide the portability needed when we lose power. We also purchased an additional battery.

Now, our system is charged and ready for hurricane season and Mother Nature provides plenty of sunshine in Florida.

The Solar Panels are nice. But, connecting them took an hour and sweat equity so plan accordingly.

As a side note, we bought a Jackery Explorer 300 several years ago for camping and have incorporated it into daily outdoor life to run a large fan and small electronics. Our Solar Saga 60 works in an emergency.

Due to our experience with quality, quiet, and ease of use we decided to expand our Jackery family. Thanks Jackery!

I have the 2000 3000 3600 and 5000 pro love them all....all work great!!!

I have reached out to Jackery several times. I’m not able to charge my Jackery by solar unless I take it outside where the panels are attached to my back porch This defeats the purpose of having a solar generator. If I can only charge it if I take it outside where side like it’s a gas generator.

They have not been able to provide me with an extension cord that works with my panels and generator or the correct adapter to connect the panels to the approx 50 foot extension cords the suggested I purchased. That was $124.00

If I take it outside, I can connect it directly to cord on the panel. However, there is no protection from the bad weather for the physical generator.

I’ve been trying for weeks to get the correct adapter to connect the panels. I purchased 3 extension cords from Jackery but the end does not pair to the panel cord. So I have to take it outside and go down the steps. I 68 year old female. It’s too heavy. I’m scared I’m going to hurt myself or lose balance and drop the generator. So I have a $2000.00 plus paperweight. Several people have suggested adapters but they do not fit properly.

Now I’m just tired of this mess.

Jackery contacted and immediately sent me the correct adapter that I needed to connect m generator to the extension cords. I’m now able to charge my generator by solar power.
I’m so happy. I am planning to purchase a few more generators.
I’m a senior citizen and in case of a power outage I have no family I can lean on or go and stay with until the power is back. It’s just me and my 2 dogs. I have to make sure they are taken care of too. I’m now on my way to be more self sufficient in case of an emergency.

Love the packaging I own three of them so far I haven’t used them thankfully I’m waiting to see how they will hold up for camping also please check out only up Wes on YouTube as far as needing to be sponsored by the company he’s in need wesup solar power I saw five different YouTubers yes they can use them but this creator is in need of power he only has generator with gas

Great product so far. My main concerns this far are with waking the unit up remotely (requires active input, and cannot be done from app while the device is asleep), and the cable durability. The SolarSaga 200w panels themselves are very durable, but the output cabling relies on two small pins and a a thin connection which can warp or damage the plastic cable coupling if pulled to the side. Lastly, inserting the cable into the panel output port is a pain. It must be slotted in one way, like a USB port, and goes in sideways. It's a challenge to hook up in a hurry or while the panel is on the roof of a vehicle as it has to be held like a pencil to properly slot in. Not saying it's not a good buy, it's a great product, durable, great price for the capacity and output, solid features overall, and Jackery 's accessories are fantastic products and the modularity is a cut above the competitors, but be aware of its quirks.

The unit itself seems fairly good. I'm a little unclear on whether a single unit can be connected to my home to ONLY power 110v devices (with all 220v devices circuits turned off). I understand 2 units are required to power 220v devices. By far, my biggest issue is with the app. It's frustrating that the app is required to enable certain features. I refuse to install the app on my phone because of the privacy policies - which clearly state location data is collected, data is shared with 3rd parties, and it specifically states data will be sent to China. I refuse to enable a data collection app on my phone just for the ability to control a few features. It's also frustrating that Jackery states on the App Store that their app does not collect ANY data, when the published policies clearly state they do - seems very dishonest.

My wife and I both work from home on computers. So there was no question about if we needed a solar generator for when power goes down. We just needed to find the best one for us. I did a lot of research on a lot of models. Jackery 3600 plus was the best. I highly recommend it.

Used it last week camping loved how it ran the camper .. 1 star off because it has no protection seeing it has to stay outside

While I purchased my Jackery for home use, I'm a professional DJ and decided to test my new 3600 Plus. I played music for a public festival to approximately 2,000 people, for 3 hours using only my Jacket for power. When my event was done I still had 23% of the battery power remaining. Thank you for a great product!

Overall great solar generator. Have used it for our soda business trailer several times now. We do find, depending on what we have plugged in, the battery drains faster than we thought. With our mini fridge it has a constant output of 110 watts and with our coffee makers can go as high as high as 2000 watts. That’s when it starts to decline quickly. So we have learned how to adjust our usage.

Main complaint would be the solar. With direct sunlight we are only getting a max of 320 watts of input generated. I have tried many different configurations but can never get higher than that (we have the 500 watt setup). Otherwise the solar panels work well just not getting to their peak performance.

Overall happy with the purchase. We will just need to invest in more solar and extra batteries faster than we had thought.

Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus

Easy to use mostly plug and play

My Jackery 3600 Plus system (with the 500W solar array and expansion battery assembly) were as advertised and extremely easy to assemble. The only thing that needed assembly was the six-panel 500W solar array, and that only took 20 minutes. The 3600 Plus unit connected to the expansion battery assembly in under a minute by connecting the supplied cable between the two units. Also, when tested, every component worked flawlessly.

I wish I was 100% satisfied. I feel like the information booklet was not designed for a beginner. It was blowing breakers left and right to charge. I heard from my son you need to dial it down. Never saw that. I had questions like how to dial down I did not see in book and education like how far to go down before charging? Keep at 100% except for once every 6 months? or let it fall so far? It sells like a whole house generator which it is not. It will definately be a benefit though once I can afford the solar panel.

I was very hesitant in purchasing but we just went camping for four days and never had to run my gas generator! Very impressed with this generator extremely happy with this purchase!!!

So far, so good! I haven’t had to officially use it yet, but it’s all charged and ready to go. I did have a little trouble using the solar panels, but I’m still working on figuring that part out. While I am not looking forward to a power outage, I feel better that I have this ready.

Many desirable features come with this product: telescoping handle, rolling wheels, 30A AC outlet for RV, parallel AC-output ports, sturdy cabinet and dual handles. I feel comfortable recommending this storage system to other folks.

Haven't had to use it yet, but we tested it and it works as described. Would definitely recommend.

Jackery has had great follow up and communication. I have bought two units from them and whenever I had any questions, concerns or price issues they took care of it right away. They honored their senior discount after the purchase and then they matched their 30 day price match during Prime Days! Very happy!

As far as the power box itself this generator is the

Got for my daughter and have open it yet

I lovveee this! I use my cpap and brought it to 2 different festivals so far. Ran it with the humidifier and heated hose for 3 nights at the first one. Blew up my mattress and charged my phone/used my straightener. Came back with 70 percent battery. Then went to a 2 nighter did the same but also blew up my sisters mattress and ran a heating pad because it was cold both nights and came back with like 50 percent battery. Highly recommend but it is heavy af

I like the fact i can use these in the house and not out in the cold of winter when we get ice storms trying to get things running and hooked up.. very happy with my purchase..
