    1. Solar Recharging time varies from different location, temperature, weather etc. The actual time may be different.

    2. During solar recharging, keep your portable power station away from heat and direct sunlight in order to extend its life span.

    3. Avoid contact with corrosive substances during storage, keep away from fire and heat sources. Avoid storing with sharp objects at the same time.

    • It is IP68 water-resistant that will protect from water splashing (Do not place it under the rain, or to soak in water). The zippers on the pocket can hold the power cords, and cover the power port.

    • We mentioned this point in the manual. Please use a soft cloth to remove the dust and dirt on the surface. Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the solar module to remove any remaining dust or dirt. Any guano or other adhesive should be removed as soon as possible from the solar surface to avoid a reduction in performance.

    Solar panel delivers strong output of 100-109W on sunny days and works as advertised. Customers appreciate the sturdy construction and charging capabilities. However, some noted the price is high, cord length is too short requiring extensions, and solar recharging can be slow. One customer mentioned difficulty with it laying flat initially.

    Upgraded from the 240 because of Starlink and not totally happy. Not much more run time, can no longer charge in the car and had to find an electrical outlet every day and the solar panel BARELY recharges it.

    Haven't got to use a lot yet. Seems very sturdy and well made. Only complaint is cord from panel to power station could be longer. Had to order extension cord.

    I have a Jackery Explorer 1500 v2 that I just purchased at Costco, it came with 1 solar panel. Is this panel the same or compatible?

    Does the Jackery automatically start charging at sunrise as long as the solar panels are connected or does the unit need to be powered on first?

    Thank you for your question.

    Yes, your Jackery power station needs to be powered ON for solar charging to begin. It will not automatically start charging when the sun rises if the unit is off.

    Here is how it works:

    1.Connect your solar panels to the power station.
    2.Turn the power station ON.
    3.Solar charging will begin automatically when sunlight hits the panels.

    The unit uses MPPT technology for optimal solar charging efficiency of up to 99 percent. Once it is on and the panels are connected, it will charge whenever there is sufficient sunlight. There is no need to restart the charging each day.

    Tip: Keep your power station in a shaded area while the solar panels are in direct sunlight. This will help extend the battery life.
