Upgraded Solar Charging Experience
This extension cable means you can place your power station inside the house, conveniently charging with the solar panels, using solar outside. Also, it's perfectly suitable for RVs, motorhomes, outdoor campers due to excellent flexibility and practicality.
Perfect Length
The 16 ft extension cable used with the original 9.8 ft cable for the solar panel can be fully extended to 26 ft when connecting portable power station to solar panel. The dynamic range makes the accessory a must-have when needing power from a distance.
Built to Last
The tin-plated copper wire transfers fast, stable electricity safely and efficiently. The PVC material makes the cable durable and flame-retardant ideal for outdoor adventures.
Unit performed well met my electrical needs for the RV I thought the solar panels (two) at 200 watts ea. were slow in charging the jackery, took most of the day and never showed charging rate above 325 watts on clear bright blue sky days, somewhat disappointing.
I'm using my solar generator now. I haven't been able to hook up my solar panels yet. I'm so glad about my purchase.
Jackery DC Extension Cable for Solar Panel
Great power source for my cabin. So much better than running a generator. I only run lights during the evening and the 200 watt solar panel tops up the power unit by mid afternoon.
Two improvement suggestions:
1. The indicator lights on the LCD display are red color. This makes them difficult to see if there is any glare on the LCD display. Instead of red color, use white color lights.
2. Initially there was confusion on my part regarding the DC7909 versus the DC8020 connectors on the solar panel cable and the connector on the power unit. I Googled the DC8020 and DC7909 connectors to distinguish which was which. Consider stamping the connector type next to the power unit receptacles and stamping the cable connectors with the connector type.
Haven't used them yet. The extra longer cable will work greater for distant charging.
