Few places are more associated with a sun-kissed outdoor lifestyle than California.
And Golden State-born company, Jackery is spreading the spirit of the great outdoors globally through its range of solar generator products that offer self-sufficient power supplies on the go.
For a decade, Jackery manufactured solar panels and portable power stations before bundling them into a single portable energy solution: the solar generator.
Solar panels collect energy from the sun using Jackery’s proprietary technology. When the sun hits the solar panels, they automatically generate electricity, which then passes through a solar charging cable into a portable power station where the electricity is converted into a form that can be used to power gear.
The solar generator series enables adventurers to venture outdoors without fear of going too far off the grid.
Portable and versatile, the generators meet various needs, from charging cell phones, camera equipment, or laptops to powering large devices like electric cooking equipment, fridges, showers, and lights.
Recent years have seen a strong impetus for Jackery.
Its solar generators achieved prominence during the pandemic as international travel restrictions and a desire to connect with nature sparked a surge in interest in camping and off-grid experiences.
Jackery’s eco-friendly credentials have also helped its products resonate. It is now a global energy leader and one of the biggest producers of portable power. In redefining the use of clean energy for outdoor living, the company is a major front in the fight against climate change.
These factors are all helping Jackery prosper.
Since 2018, it has sold more than 2 million units worldwide and boasts a global footprint spanning the US, Europe, Japan, and China.
So far, Jackery has received 40 prestigious international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Design Award, the A’ Design Award and Competition, and the CES Innovation Award.
And the latest models in the firm's high-end Pro series of solar generators — the Solar Generator 1500 Pro and the Solar Generator 3000 Pro — are upping the ante by utilizing industry-leading tech to increase energy conversion.
The Solar Generator 1500 Pro is an easily transportable, entry-level model boasting a 1512Wh capacity, a maximum power output of up to 1800W, and solar or wall charging in two hours with 6 SolarSaga 200W panels.
The Solar Generator 3000 Pro is the lightest and most compact among same capacity level solar generator products. It produces 8500Wh per day, offering enough backup power for a five-day wilderness expedition or getting a family through any power outage or emergency they may face. Its compact size helps save room in the trunk. The generator is also quiet: releasing just 30dB of noise when charging in silent mode.
Both generators utilize solar cells engineered to put to work a broad range of the light spectrum, increasing overall energy conversion.
A solar-powered wilderness trip would have been unimaginable not so long ago. But with its range of clean, green solutions, Jackery is proving its mastery of the great outdoors.
