Worked as it was designed to do!! Convenient way to have two solar panels enter one input on your generator, frees up the other input. Well made with excellent instructions.

After our power went out for over 24 hours, our sump pump stopped and we ended up with several inches of water in the basement, we decided to get a Jackery 3000 to prevent this from happening again. I had an issue ordering online so I called and ordered by phone. No problem at all.
We feel confident that the Jackery will meet our needs, but I wish it came with a little more information about how to use it.
I watched the unboxing video. It didn't offer much more than describing what was in the box. I read the article "How to use your Jackery in a power outage" and I suggest you include a printout in the box for new users. Excellent article!

I really like the portability, ease of deploying and storing the fold-out solar panels, DC and AC power, and a 30 amp AC plug for RV boondocking. An all around great solution for my first solar experience!

compact yet powerful

Provided instructions were useful and easy to understand. Setup of the Solar panels was also easy thanks to clear instructions. Fast shipping and the product charged up using the solar panels - thx for clear solar panel instructions.

I installed my new Jackery DC-DC charger myself in about three hours total labor time. The instructions are clear with helpful pictures of the key installation steps. Everything is working perfectly and I am 100 percent happy with my purchase.

This is an excellent device. Plenty of flexibility in outlets use--you can use two at a time or then go up to 3-4 total; and power amount as you can add battery packs. Weight is the same as the E1000. So much more can be done with this Jackery Generator than the E1000. Should always buy a Jackery that has expandable ability. Traded in an E1000.

Very silent at bedside. Running pap machines bipap and cpap through Jackery and have notice that the machines get steady electricity and function better. Both running off battery and can get 4 hours at least. Either pap can run 10 hours easy. The a/c button may pop and the cpap will shut off abruptly but easily turned back on. Charges from 30 power to 100 in less than 4 hours. Charges cells up very quickly and the cells stay charged longer than when plugged. Didn't noticed any difference with fan function plugged in with pap and cell other than sucked down the battery quickly. A lot heavier than expected to lift and handle is very nice. Shame there is no wheels on bottom of unit to roll like luggage. Mostly surprised how much better pap therapy is plugged into Jackery vs wall outlet. Speaks volumes about the lack of grid's quality of steady electricity flow. Overall not worried about not sleeping in the next power outage. Very happy about being able to make payments instead of dropping the entire cost at once. It helps on a fixed budget to stay fixed. If bugging out becomes a priority, it is going to make a break for it a lot more realistic and pretty sure swinging it like Thor's hammer would help against zombies in an attack. It will also not be loud enough to call for zombies either while in use. Always wise to have options.

The directions are in English and fairly clear. It all assembled pretty easily. The allen screws are extremely small so care must be taken not to lose them. It's nice that the input and outputs are clearly marked and identified in the natural l manual.

Perfect start. Got it out of the packaging, charged it, then started testing the outlets. Smooth so far.

Now what was the Question?

Awesome power source. Chose the 2000v over the 1000v for the extra power. Wasn’t real impressed with the Extreme Guard Carrying Case. Not really needed in Florida plus it had no external or internal pockets. Returned it for partial refund. Charged me for return postage.

Lightweight yet powerful it’s a perfect addition for your battery powered devices.

My Jackery is awesome. I’ve used it multiple times already. No bad things to say

We haven't had to use the Jackery yet, but I am confident it will be useful when we have a power outage and need to keep the sump pump going. I will say that the Jackery packing was excellent....it was totally protected during shipment. I have had quick responses from Jackery for any questions I have come up with. I am happy to have the Jackery for peace of mind.

I really like the Jackery explorer 5000plus, however I am slightly disappointed in the solar saga 500 watt panels & the connection cords. Terminals & cords are to light duty. The panels rarely achieve 350 to 375 watts in direct mid day sunlight. Therefore should be marketed in that range or a 3 panel set up. Thank you!

Worry-Free Purchase

I have acquired 4 of these solar panels from two Jackery purchases. As Jackery states, using more than two panels does allow for a faster charge. Yeah, the panel kickstands could be more supportive. Particularly in the middle. But once in place the panel stays put nicely. Every 30-45 minutes you do need to orient the panel slightly more directly in-line with the moving sun to get the best charge.
When the sun is directly overhead the panels may need to be "more horizontal" to the ground to get more direct sunlight. To accommodate this, I use 5 triangle shaped Styrofoam blocks to help lower the panel's angle to the sun. One block at each "fold" and one block at each end. On an optimal sunny day, we regularly achieve 175 watts per panel. (700w with 4 panels). I have seen a rare 384 watts using two panels to charge our 2000 v2. The Sun Angle Indicator, aka bullseye indicator, is a must to be referenced for the best solar charging angle.
Due to normal electrical resistance, I do not expect to ever see 200w.
