  • What is the best portable generator for essential home backup power?

Jackery Solar Generators are among the best portable solar-powered generators for essential home backup power. The Jackery Solar Generator HomePower 3600 Plus, for example, features a large battery capacity that can power most critical household appliances when the grid fails.

  • What size generator do I need to live off-grid?

The size of an off-grid solar generator depends on daily energy usage. Generally, a 3,000-5,000-watt generator is sufficient to run basic off-grid appliances. Essential off-grid living typically requires a mid- to high-capacity Jackery Solar Generator capable of powering appliances, lighting, and devices for extended periods. Off-grid living requires reliable power storage, solar panels, water systems, refrigeration, lighting, communication devices, and backup solutions. A Jackery Solar Generator can support essential electricity needs even in remote off-grid locations.

  • What size generator do I need for camping?

The right size of solar-powered generator for camping depends on what you plan to power. Smaller Jackery Solar Generators handle lights and devices, while higher-capacity camping generators support cooking gear, fridges, and other equipment. Along with basic camping gear, many campers bring a Jackery Solar Generator to power lights, phones, cooking appliances, coolers, and essential electronics without relying on campsite electricity.
