PREPARING YOUR SOLAR GENERATOR
The Explorer 500 can be fully charged under straight full sun in 9.5 hours by connecting SolarSaga 100W solar panel.
Solar recharging steps:
1. Find the DC interface on the back of SolarSaga 100;
2. Connect the DC interface of SolarSaga 100 with DC input of Explorer 500
Notes:
1. Solar panel types and quantity depends on your purchase.
2. Buy 2 SolarSoga, get 1*Solar Panel Connector.
3. Buy 4 or 6 SolarSoga, get 2*Solar Panel Connectors.
* This product (portable power supply) can supply power to your device in the temperature range of -10 to 40 degrees Celsius (-10 to 65 degrees Celsius for solar panels). If the operating temperature is outside the above range, this product may not work.
A: Please note that the AC output port can only charge/power devices that operate at less than 500-Watt. Once exceeding, the Explorer 500 will shut off automatically. Please refer to your device specification before purchase.
A: Working time = 500Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device.
For reference, assuming power consumption of your device is 60W (might be a box fan), working time will be 500Wh*0.85/60w=7hrs (rough calculated) .

I recently purchased my second power station from Jackery and am no disappointed. The shipping service took two weeks practically getting the Jackery 500 to me after shipping the package to Kennesaw, GA. from San Diego, CA. We live in Arizona and Jackery, not the shipping company, made it right. Jackery gave me an additional 10% off already discounted price. Lasted at least five nights to charge the lights for my theme camp. I am slowly building up to the solar panels, so this time I recharged it on my friends generator once, to have it last a few more nights.
Ease of use
Used it camping with Led lights & a 12V 1080i TV
It showed its true colors the other day....Hooked up it up to my New Traeger 22 to slow grill ribs for 4.5 hrs on a full 100% charge ...after that time it was down to 75%
Start temp was 225 for 3.5 hrs then 300 the last hour.
Later on I used the solar panel to recharge it back to 90% in less than 2 hrs.
If I had too in a power outage..could cook for a few of my Neighbors.
Made the right choice & Shows I could use thos grill at a campground or local park for a gathering.
Every time I have any issue with Jackery, they’re always very quick to solve the issue. Plus it’s such a great product!
