Upgraded Solar Charging Experience
This extension cable means you can place your power station inside the house, conveniently charging with the solar panels, using solar outside. Also, it's perfectly suitable for RVs, motorhomes, outdoor campers due to excellent flexibility and practicality.
Perfect Length
The 16 ft extension cable used with the original 9.8 ft cable for the solar panel can be fully extended to 26 ft when connecting portable power station to solar panel. The dynamic range makes the accessory a must-have when needing power from a distance.
Built to Last
The tin-plated copper wire transfers fast, stable electricity safely and efficiently. The PVC material makes the cable durable and flame-retardant ideal for outdoor adventures.
Wanted to connect to Jackery 100W panels to one input and aslo add a Jackey extension cable. Discovered that I needed a Jackery adapter to connect the extension line to the dual connector. That is just not fair marketing. The dual connector or the extension cable should include one. In the end, I have a great set up that allows my V2 battery to charge via 4 100W panels at a more usuable distance.
So just a heads up if you have the Jackery 1000 v2 with the 100 watt solar panel. The 9ft. cable that comes with it connects right from the battery to the solar panel, but if you order the 16ft extension cable you will need to order this part in the picture.
When going to connect I found these cables do not work out of the box with Explorer 5000 Plus and SolorSaga 85 that use DC 8020 connectors. The extension cables have DC7909 connectors on each end with only one 8020 adapter, so a second 7909 to 8020 adapter in necessary.
Contacted Jackery support to inform them - as this is not noted in product manuals or description, and they were great in quickly assisting me to resolve the issue.
I bought the Jackery Brand, thank goodness... another one didn't work well, 1/2 charge. With the Jackery cable full charge! Maybe it was a bad cable but I'll stick with Jackery, never seem to have problems. Thanks Everyone at Jackery!
I'm really glad it adds another 19 ft. However it would be so much better if that 19 ft went from the panel toward the battery instead of from the battery toward the solar panel. The original cord that came with the jackery has a USB and a seaport that you can use near the battery while it's charging the way this works those parts are outside near the solar panels and nowhere near the battery so not usable.
For that reason I give it four stars. If on the other end of the cable they put the two prong that goes to the solar panel that would be better.
