Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station

I lived off grid in the Colorado mountains/New Mexico during January winters till August. This bad boy (Jackery explorer 500) kept my phone, tablet, and even ran a heat lamp meant for lizards. For about 1.5-2 hours. It charged your devices extremely fast. Within 3 minutes my phone was at 25% 30ish minutes later my phone was at 100% This is without connection to the singular Jackery solar panel I bought with it. In direct afternoon sunlight the panel will collect about 64-95w depending on clouds throughout the day. I tried to run the lowest watt microwave I could find at Walmart, but it shut off instantly to protect itself. I used to play a lot of games on my phone that absolutely drained the battery. Minecraft etc. and plugged in at 100% charge it would keep the phone battery at 100% all day and drop to 95-79% battery on the 500
Laptops drain faster, the flashlight attachment can run for days, it’s solid and hard to knock over. It’s pretty dang rain resistant and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen it bug out or act like it wasn’t fresh out of the box. I had to sell my 500 but I am currently saving to upgrade to a larger model.I highly recommend getting this one for regular camping/ off grid. It’s a beefcake. I’ve never tried it but I’ve seen construction workers use it to recharge power tools on the job. Personally I’d have saved up to try the Jackery 1000 but this model exceeded my expectations

I purchased this unit to use in my shed and for any other portable electrical needs that I have up in my garden away from Power. Very handy!

I bought this as a power supply for my cpap (airsense 11) on 3-4 day camping trips. It powered my cpap for four nights (with humidifier power off), which is perfect for me. After four nights the explorer 500 had 7% of the battery left. I also used it one night, with the humidifier on, and my cpap used up 79% of the batteries. So the humidifier will drain the batteries pretty quickly. If connected to 110 power supply the explorer 500 will charge fairly fast. So far it is a perfect power supply for me to get out camping.

Lasted us twice as long as expected during the local pride festival. Sold up grade for our merch tent.

It’s amazing! We have used 3 times already twice for power outages and once for 2 day camping adventure. Charged dewalt chargers for a wireless fan in just 30 mins and kept 2 iPads fully charged for the camping trip! Highly recommend!
