If you camp, you have to have a Jackery!

I have owned my Jackery 500 for over 2 years now and I keep finding more and more ways to use it! I started by using it for electronics like phone, computer, speakers, lights, and my wi-fi hot spot. Soon I realized it powered all my hair styling tools (hear that girls!) Then I tried my electric blanket and it worked, but used a lot of my energy so I attached it to a timer because I really just needed it for about an hour as I fell asleep and that was a great solution. I also bought a DC blanket to run all night if I needed it (uses much less energy). Now I have a small 200 watt heater that I run on a timer as well. I can now stay warm without using propane :) One of my favorite uses is my milk steamer/frother! It uses 300 watts, runs for 2 minutes and uses 3 percent of my charge. It made making my lattes a breeze in the morning. I recently tried using my Jackery 500 to charge my electric bike and to my surprise it did it! I have a Pedego electric bike and it was at half charge which is two bars. I plugged the charger in and it was drawing 103 watts and in just over 2 hours it was fully charged. It did use 47% of my charge though so most likely 100% of charge if bike had been at zero. It was good to find out that it could handle charging my bike!

My Jackery 500 is just an amazing and helpful addition to my camping life! It is reliable and sturdy, works great and I highly recommend. If you are a camper thinking about buying a Jackery, go for it because they are the absolute best and won't let you down !!

Now I just need a lightweight solar generator that I can plug my RV into so I can power my 900 watt microwave and my ac that has a soft start on it!!.

    Jackery Explorer 500

I purchased this unit brand new along with solar panels. I wanted something that I could depend on when I went on vacation. I DID NOT GET THAT. The unit does not hold a charge. I have called twice and got two different answers on getting this replaced. First call I was told you would send me a new one to where I staying on vacation and I could return the defective one when I got home. I tried several other things to see if the cord was defective and was supposed to call back the next day with results. When I called, the person on the phone told me a completely different story. I do not have an address to return this oversized paperweight, and I cannot get anyone to respond to my emails, no one answers the phone (your always closed). I have contacted Amazon.com with a complaint and have gotten no response. WHO DO I NEED to call??

Jackery 500 charges my sailboat battery

I have a 21 ft sailboat with a 3.5 KW electric motor. A solar panel recharges the battery most of the time, but the Jackery works great when I need an overnight (or even faster) boost. It's also easy to carry to the marina, and my small dinghy can transport it out to the sailboat.

Good but won't power wife's Breville Espresso Machine

I was hoping that this would power my wife's Breville Espresso machine but it pulls mor amps than the 500w will provide.

Other than that it has not been extensively used.

obtw, my 1000w Honda Inverter will not power the Breville either - AMP HOG !
